Carole Joos’s main aim is to create a world of her own with her works. She is inviting the viewer on a journey through a world animated by surreal characters and symbols from elsewhere.
The various symbols are intended to be positive and to bring love, health, harmony and wholeness to homes, galleries, etc….
EXHIBITIONS
When Carole Joos exhibits at a location, she likes to occupy the space. In this way, it grives the visitors the opportunity to enter in this world. She also enjoys creating something temporary just for the place in which the exhibition takes place. So that each exhibition is unique.
The choice of materials used is very important to the artist. She
appreciates noble, stable materials and likes to contrast them with
and/or recycled materials. In addition to her hability to use art conservation techniques, inspire herse or from the techniques of the old masters and and renews their use.
